OperationsPosition OverviewManages the Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledgebase for the Company. Performs a variety of functions related to users (creating user accounts, managing and troubleshooting access), courses (creating courses, assessments or posts), deployment (assigning courses/curriculum to users or user-groups), system maintenance (pruning outdated content, adherence to standards), and reports (use Excel, Power BI, etc. to present actionable data). Helps create, manage and enforce LMS system standards, policies and procedures.Job Responsibilities* Creates/uploads a variety of content on both systems: Posts/Communication on Knowledgebase, and quizzes and surveys, instructor-led training (ILT) and online courses on the LMS.* Handles the resolution of LMS/Knowledgebase Help Desk issues related to access, course assignment, course playback and more.* Manages all user account issues such as account creation/deactivation, troubleshooting access issues in a timely manner.* Creates user groups and/or leverages system functionality to assign trainings and manage curriculums.* Ensures system content meets desired standards in terms of titles, descriptions, tags, relevance, etc.* Performs regular maintenance of content including archiving of outdated material or terminated users.* Recommends and/or runs reports for business to track course completions, user activity, or other specific needs.* Works with the system vendors to manage issues, upgrades and modifications.* Collaborates with the Learning & Organizational Development and Compliance teams to deploy and maintain learning content, as well as manage user account issues.* Helps create, manage and enforce LMS system standards, policies and procedures.* Uses Business Intelligence applications (eg, Excel, Access, Power B.I.) to extract, manipulate, format, and present data.* Prepares and maintains a variety of success metrics and reports for management.* Develops documentation of processes and methods and provides training on the same.* Assists with any system upgrades or changes and recommends process efficiencies.* Provides consultancy to stakeholders on system functionality to meet a business need.Job Requirements* Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience with a learning management system required.* Experience with Java Script, XML, and SQL preferred.* Experience with SCORM and TIN CAN xAPI specification preferred.* Knowledge of relational database structure and applications.* Knowledge and skill to use statistics to analyze and summarize data.* Ability to apply systemic analysis to problem solving and decision making.* Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete many simultaneous requests of differing complexity or urgency.* Ability to collaborate remotely with geographically dispersed team members and stakeholders.* Skill and ability to develop and manage successful business relationships.* Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office -- applications, particularly Excel, Access, SharePoint, Power BI.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential function to this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Incumbent must be prepared to:* Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.* Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.* Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.* Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.Incumbent is required to have:* Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.Incumbent will be subject to:* Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.* If working remotely, incumbent must be suitably equipped with the right infrastructure for success, including high speed Internet capable of supporting video conferences, cell-phone, and a dedicated working space free from visual or auditory distractions.
