Job DescriptionCommunity Health Systems, Inc. is one of the nation's leading operators of general acute care hospitals. Based on the unique needs of each community served, these hospitals offer a wide range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services in inpatient and outpatient settings. CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Business Systems Analyst for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Architecture & Strategy team. POSITION SUMMARY: Business Systems Analyst reports directly to the IS Manager, Initiative and Resource Planning and is responsible for providing expert reporting, project and process coordination use cases as needed. The Analyst must be competent to work with at the highest levels in all phases of business, finance and project arena. The Business Systems Specialist consults with business partners and leadership on business and project needs and provides oversight to EDW team. The Specialist will be the primary contact with key business users to create business use cases, requirements, conduct gap analysis. This position involves the gathering and the analysis of complex business data. They will be responsible to provides support, direction and provides analytical assistance for identifying, evaluating data for reporting that meets the executive requirements by engaging with all business partners involved to insure data satisfies reporting requirements and adheres to departmental standards, procedures and quality metrics to insure continuous improvement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Create mapping specifications as needed by working with Business partners and Vendors Track, analyze and monitor data results through investigation, analysis and evaluation for ongoing monitoring and refinement Project Coordination as directed and needed, utilize project management methodologies throughout every project stage where as directed Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and identify relevant business needs Work effectively with all end users and assist in the determination of data needs Responsible for assignment completions and follow through Document use and business cases as needed JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degreeThis position requires a 3+ years' related experience in Healthcare industry and Enterprise data warehouse models. 3+ years' of experience using SQL Must have proven analytical and reporting skills, be able to adapt existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet specific requirements Strong research and analytical skills are required Demonstrated sound judgment to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction is required Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Highly motivated, skilled in multi-tasking and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be a self-starter with ability to take direction and work independently, ability to effectively work as a part of a team
