POSITION SUMMARY:

Members of the Corporate Deskside Support team. Performs user support functions and supplemental project work during appointed shifts. Creates and ensures standards (SOP) are adhered to and documented so as to standardize support. Should also be prepared to respond to a constantly changing list of priorities with intent to carry each task to completion. This person must be team and customer service oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide input to the development of applications on technical issues that may result in changes/enhancements to policies and procedures for all CHS systems * Members of the Corporate Deskside Support team assist in the following activities: * Remote and deskside incident management for: * Hardware * Software * Network * Server * Phone / Mobile Devices

* Performs Deskside functions associated with internal and external customer based needs. * Records requests in ServiceNow ticketing application * Performs corrective procedures for prevention or system recovery support * End User ID creation and security * Manages users IDs as necessary, to include addition of users to individual applications and distribution groups. * Hardware Deployment * GSuite Support including Drive and Group management * Follows security policy in identifying legitimate password reset requests. * Updates operational procedural documentation as needed to reflect new or modified procedures.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* An Associate's Degree or higher in an IT related field or equivalent experience * 2+ years of Help Desk experience doing remote support * Experience supporting Active Directory for end users * Experience supporting GSuite * 2+ years of experience troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including network, PC, software and servers. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE or CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

* A+ Certification * Network + Certification * MCSE Certification * Certified Netware Administrator

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Process Improvement based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process models. Hospital Physician Portal, Horizon Clinical Interface, Horizon Clinical Suite, Database Administration

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently stands walks, requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, hearing and speech. Occasionally sits, bends, reaches above the shoulder and requires color definition. Rarely climbs, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, works in difficult positions, requires far vision or steps up/down. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 60 pounds
