Job Description:

We are looking for Insurance Advisor's to join our Aviation team at Chappell, Smith & Associates in Franklin, TN. The primary job responsibilities are to prospect, seek referrals, and sell new policies to grow your book of business. Supporting tasks for this position include but are not limited to daily servicing of our clients, processing new and renewal business, assisting clients in the claims process, developing relationships with clients and underwriters, etc. This is a full-time in-office position and remote work is not available at this time. To be successful in this position, the applicant must have the following:

• Highly energetic and self-motivated business owner mentality
• Ability to accept constructive criticism and rejection
• Outgoing people person who is comfortable meeting with and presenting quotes to clients
• Understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies and advise client on policy coverage needs for their unique situations.
• Strong customer service skills
• Positive attitude
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to organize, set, and maintain priorities
• Above average computer skills with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and internet browsers
• Above average math skills
• Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Full-time position with flexibility to work nights and weekends if needed
• College Degree preferred
• Pilot license or aviation background preferred
• Sales experience preferred, but not required
