Job Description:

Essential Job DutiesTo perform this job, an individual must accomplish each essential function satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Manages and administers all benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance.
  • Coordinates employee enrollment and eligibility for benefits, including processing new hire enrollments, changes in coverage, and terminations.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employees, providing information and assistance on benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicates with insurance carriers, vendors, and third-party administrators to resolve benefit-related issues and provide accurate and timely processing of benefit claims.
  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of required reporting, including but not limited to annual ACA reporting, FSA Discrimination Testing, etc.
  • Collaborates with Benefits Manager for annual open enrollment process including coordination of timeline with vendors, brokers and TPA's; delivering Open Enrollment information meetings; manage communications, assist with enrollment questions, close process, and audit for completion.
  • Collaborates with other HR team members, payroll, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related data and payments.
  • Participates in benefits program design and implementation, including researching and evaluating benefit options, making recommendations, and assisting with communication and roll-out efforts.
  • Ensures integrity and maintenance of benefits-related data in HRIS systems and timely completion and submission of required reporting.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in employee benefits administration and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-effective benefit solutions.
