Job Description:

The Williamson County Government Juvenile Services Division is accepting applications for a full-time Juvenile Detention Intake Officer for detainees. This position will oversee the activities of offenders of the Juvenile Detention Center as well as processing required paperwork.

Applicants must have an education equivalent to graduation from high school. Good communication, computer skills, and must be able to maintain safety and security of youth in detention through use of physical control when necessary. Applicants are expected to develop knowledge and understanding of specific laws, policies and standards related to working with youth in detention facilities and must commit to training in an efficient time frame. This position will be working varied shifts including nights and weekends.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $20.50 per hour
