POSITION SUMMARYLifepoint Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware, including the Aria suite components for Operations and Suite Lifecycle. - Also, experience with support and administration of VxRail, and Dell Technologies PowerMax, PowerScale, Isilon, and Unity technologies. The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Build, design, and fix infrastructure systems, tools, or processes to support Infrastructure Services strategic objectives and continually seeking opportunities for efficiencies through automation.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Triage, document and provide level 3 support for issue resolution from ticket management system.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Implement and manage storage solutions, ensuring data availability, integrity, and scalability.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Participate in the planning and execution of data center operations tasks, such as equipment installation, cabling, racking/stacking, and environmental monitoring.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Manage shipping and receiving of equipment to and from data centers as needed.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Provide technical support to end-users, resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Work remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to manage tasks independently.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating and coordinating with various organizational departments.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Performs other duties as assigned.--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Regular and reliable attendance.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: - - - - - - - - - Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. - - - - - - - - - Access to and / or works with sensitive and / or confidential information. - - - - - - - - - Exhibit an understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). - Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. - Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Experienced in supporting VMware environment, including ESXi, vCenter, Aria Operations (vRealize Operations).SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Technical Computer Skills: Demonstrate use of intermediate computer operations (basic programming, relational databases, and operating systems) and intermediate software packages.Complex Communication -- Frequently communicates complex information and interacts with management. Can present, resolve, and address delicate situations.
