We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Williamson Health, a leading healthcare system in Franklin, Tennessee. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in the operating room.

As a Surgical Technologist at Williamson Health, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating surgical patient care in a timely and accurate manner. You will work collaboratively with the surgical team to coordinate the delivery of patient care, anticipate and provide equipment and supplies, and maintain a sterile field.

**Responsibilities**

--- Collaborate with the surgical team to effectively coordinate patient care
--- Anticipate and provide equipment and supplies in a timely manner
--- Create and maintain a sterile field using principles of aseptic practice
--- Handle and transport medications and solutions safely and in accordance with hospital policies
--- Perform counts and initiate corrective action when necessary
--- Assist with controlling the OR Suite environment and maintaining traffic patterns
--- Return equipment and supplies to their proper place and prepare the OR room for the next case
--- Demonstrate responsibility for cost containment and document patient charges accurately
--- Maintain position-specific qualifications and participate in staff development and training
--- Facilitate communication and return promptly from breaks

**Requirements**

--- High school graduate
--- Previous scrub tech experience or graduate of scrub tech school
--- Earned a Surgical Technology diploma or degree from a college or university or has 18 months experience prior to July 1, 2006
--- Current certification through NBSTSA or equivalent, within 6 months of employment
--- Ability to work well under pressure and function independently
--- Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours and lift patients with assistance up to 250 lbs
