Kennel Technician for Riverview Farm Kennels LLC The job includes cleaning kennels, working with dogs, requires a lot of walking and lifting and physical activity, monitoring dogs in paddocks, feeding, running dogs in the fields, washing dog beds, and cleaning grass paddocks. We have over 70 dogs, from newborns to seniors. It's a physical, fast paced, and rewarding job. We are seeking long-term employee(s), who wish to remain with the business long-term. Kennel Technician Job Description Cleaning Kennels Feeding Dogs Walking Dogs Monitoring Play Time in the Paddocks Observing Health & Behavior of Dogs May be asked to assist with newborn pups or help with training in the fields Skills Needed Must have a love for the work/dogs - not "just a job" attitude Able to lift 50 pounds Be able to walk a lot in a day and spend hours outside - hot or cold, rain or sun Follow instructions Attention to details Be patient and gentle with the dogs Fluent in German is a plus Desired Work Experience Dog Kennel work Dog Handling and Training Farm or Ranch work Cleaning experience Benefits Competitive pay with opportunity for raises Paid vacation days and health insurance Potential for living space to be provided Pay: $17-$20 per hour starting rate or salary of over $30K, salary negotiable regarding living arrangements, etc. So far, we are the only American kennel that produces dogs in the US who compete in the professional field, on the highest level in England and the European continent.
