The Coding Business Operations Analyst is responsible for a variety of functions related to the general management and business operations of the Clinical Performance Coding Operations-CCM department. - -This position provides process and operational coordination support to a variety of functions including supporting business reporting, analysis, presenting information for business planning. This position provides support to department senior leaders, managers, and coding team members and reports to the Coding Operations Senior Business Project Manager. - This role leverages coding experience and industry practices to support the improvement of processes, technology, and overall performance outcomes for the department

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinates with Senior Business Manager to develop processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports to support key departmental and corporate initiatives
Generate Monthly CCR Outcomes reports, and submit to Coding Managers for final analysis and delivery
Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve business processes, report content and completeness of information
Manages and communicates daily Operational Metrics with Coding Management Team
Packages weekly Production dashboard for all projects and timely sends to Coding Managers for review and final analysis
Coordinates with all Project leads to Manage Pathway Provider Query Responses
Manages Pending/Aging Queries and processes queries that have expired without provider response
Manages SharePoint sites created to support key corporate initiatives
Compile, and submit operational metrics for analysis by leaders
Manages iCoreCodeGenius and Encoder Subscriptions adds new and deletes inactive users
Manages AAPC Subscriptions (Member and Webinar) with Optum PALS representative
Participates in Pathway Project Management - Management of Enhancements, Defects, and General IT issues associated with Coding Operations functions
Manages Pathway user guide for CD/CDM roles including updates, quick reference training guides and distribution of communications regarding monthly releases
Supports EDU and Training activities by management, logging and reporting of post training survey results
Coordinates/facilitates meetings; prepares draft agendas for review with Manager/Directors; issues agendas with appropriate backup materials; sets up mega meeting; takes minutes, and provides follow-up correspondence
Attends educational offerings, to keep abreast of change and comply with position requirements and credentials

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Coding Credential from National Accredited Organization such as AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CPC-A, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA etc.)
3+ years of experience with ICD-10-CM Coding
Intermediate level proficiency in Excel
Intermediate in PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
Solid attention to detail
Must be able to always maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude
Ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment when arriving at conclusions
Ability to effectively report deficiencies with a recommended solution in oral and/or written form
Ability to manage a significant workload and to work efficiently under pressure meeting established deadlines with limited supervision
Communicates in a clear and understandable manner; exercises independent judgment; influences and coordinate the efforts of others over whom one has no direct authority
Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by AHIMA and AAPC

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The hourly range for Colorado residents is $25.63 to $45.72. The hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $28.27 to $50.29.
