Job Description:

Primary Function: Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, both electrically and mechanically, oversee the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment, troubleshoot concerns, boost production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and works regular maintenance work orders.Experience Level: Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician, familiarity with OSHA safetystandards, basic computer & report writing skills, good communication skills.Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting basic engineering blueprints.
• Installing new production equipment.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns.
• Adjusting or fabricating mechanical and/or electrical parts using hand and machine tools. May require welding and other fastening methods.
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
• Preparing and submitting work orders, maintenance reports, etc.
• Demonstrates a teachable attitude. Promotes learning in area of expertise, as well as open to unfamiliar technical areas.
• Promotes and works in a team-oriented environment.
• Assures a safety-first attitude in all areas. Supports good housekeeping of areas where work is performed, and in all maintenance areas.
