We believe in the power of our talented teams and strive to create environments where employees find purpose and fulfillment. -What you'll do:As a Sr. Analyst, Business Systems, you will be responsible for -meeting the needs of internal and external LifePoint customers and supporting the business departments by planning -and implementing information systems. The Senior - Analyst acts as a liaison between business departments and IS for -software issues. This position provides the knowledge and skills to meet business staff and/or hospital/clinics needs and -performs in accordance with LifePoint Health standards and policies. The Senior - Analyst is a trained individual who -must solve problems under critical time constraints, operates under minimal supervision, and identifies opportunities for -business process improvements using information technologies. Supports the functional development, implementation, and related meaningful use of Oracle/Cerner Electronic Health Records (EHR) in support of the organizational strategic direction within LifePoint Healthcare venues. Provides subject -matter expertise to the team while assuring inclusion of others within the Cerner Clinical team, as appropriate, to meet -objectives. -Responsibilities: - - - - - - - Build and maintain Cerner Millennium modules. - - - - - - - Participating in coordinating any application changes, including maintenance/patches, software changes. - - - - - - - Works with customers on break/fix issues, needs for the application. - - - - - - - Maintain event codes, event sets, locations, organizations, org/person alias pools, and other core functions -included in Cerner Core responsibilities. - - - - - - - Analyze requests for new build and make recommendations to foster standards and best practices. - - - - - - - Create and maintain reports using Cerner's Discern Analytics (DA2) tool. - - - - - - - In-depth knowledge of preferences and privileges and how they relate to the system. - - - - - - - Understanding and demonstrated knowledge of build and support of tasks and apprgroups. - - - - - - - Working knowledge of 724, printer setup, and Olympus functions. - - - - - - - Provides support for day-to-day production issues maintaining documentation in the appropriate tracking -systems while adhering to prescribed escalation & change control procedures. - - - - - - - Update/maintain Event Set Hierarchy as needed. - - - - - - - Performs other duties as assigned. - - - - - - - Regular and reliable attendance. -What you'll need:EDUCATION: - Associate Degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required -knowledge, skills, and abilities. Healthcare background preferred.
