Job Description As a Validation Chemist, you will focus on one
validation project at a time, typically lasting three weeks and
involving ten batches. Your tasks will include reviewing methods
for accuracy, setting up studies in the lab, creating stock
solutions and reagents, running stability tests, performing
extractions, and using LC-MS instrumentation under Sciex software.
This role requires independence, with the responsibility to
organize lab testing within the project timeline. A dedicated
trainer will guide you for the first two months, during which you
will train and shadow three validations before proceeding
independently. Responsibilities Review method accuracy and setup
studies in the lab. Create stock solutions, reagents, and run
stability tests. Conduct extractions and utilize LC-MS
instrumentation. Troubleshoot instrumentation as needed. Work under
GLP regulations. Organize lab testing within a scheduled timeline.
Participate in desk work, lab work, and administrative tasks
throughout the validation project. Essential Skills Bachelor's or
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related
Life Science. Minimum of 2 years experience with HPLC and LC-MS.
Experience working under GLP or GMP regulations. Strong
documentation skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience with small molecule, oligonucleotide,
protein, and peptide work. Proficiency in troubleshooting
analytical techniques. Industry experience in pharmaceutical,
biotech, food, etc. Work Environment You will be working in a lab
setting within the Bioanalytical team, consisting of approximately
100 employees, with a focus on chemistry. The work environment
offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to build your own
hours, with options for working second shifts or weekends with
differential pay. The lab provides a supportive environment with
promotional opportunities after five years of validation
experience, leading to the Method Development team. Benefits

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out
of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$24.04 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
