Specialist Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented
Clinical Research Specialist to join our team. This role involves
the accurate and timely collection of blood samples, laboratory
processing of biological specimens, and the preparation and
recording of ECGs/Holters. The successful candidate will monitor
meals for dietary compliance, assist in preparing rooms and medical
equipment, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working and
study environment. Additionally, fostering respectful relationships
with study participants and accurately recording all research data
are key aspects of the position. Responsibilities Collect blood
samples via venipuncture accurately and timely. Process laboratory
specimens as specified by protocol. Perform blood pressure, pulse,
respiratory rate, and temperature readings accurately. Prepare and
accurately record ECGs/Holters. Monitor meals to ensure dietary
compliance by research participants. Assist in preparing rooms and
medical equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working
and study environment. Foster respectful relationships with study
participants. Accurately record all research data obtained or
observed. Observe study subjects for general well-being and
potential adverse events, taking appropriate action as needed.
Transcribe source documentation onto case report forms. Assist with
quality control of source documents and case report forms. Maintain
a basic understanding of current regulatory requirements. Attend
all required meetings. Assist with study procedures as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken. Maintain skills
to perform all study tasks as required. Ensure constant awareness
of participant safety and dignity at all times. Handle participant
complaints efficiently and effectively. Ensure client and
participant confidentiality is maintained. Respond to client and
team queries in a timely manner. Take ownership of the quality and
standard of own work. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential

Skills & Qualifications Current certification as a Paramedic in
Wisconsin or EMT. 0 – 2 years of related experience. Work
Environment The work is based in a clinic located in Madison, WI.
The role involves shift work, and the successful candidate must be
flexible in terms of hours. The environment is supportive and
focused on maintaining the safety and dignity of participants.
Proper attire is required to maintain professionalism. Job Type &
Location This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI. Pay
and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
