Ryder is currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Part-Time Casual Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to join our exceptional transportation team. In this role, you will support our consistent commitment to excellent delivery services across various industries. You will be operating within a flexible structure, allowing you to balance personal downtime while being a significant part of our logistical operations. We rely on your expertise and professionalism to maintain the efficiency and reliability that Ryder stands for. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations as scheduled. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency. Accurately complete logs, reports, and other documentation required by the company and regulatory agencies. Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries, maintaining Ryder's reputation for reliability and professionalism. Proficient in driving large vehicles (Class A CDL required) Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules Knowledge of safety procedures and legal transportation requirements Excellent navigational and route mapping skills Good physical stamina and ability to handle physical load Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Current DOT physical examination (medical card) Clean driving record
