Job Description:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and
verifying shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
with customer and carrier requirements. This role works closely
with production, operations, and customer service teams to support
daily shipping needs, maintain accurate records, and contribute to
efficient warehouse operations. POSITION DETAILS Shift Times :
7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO Demonstrate the Core Values of Comfort
Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with
others. Prepare and process shipping documents, including Bills of
Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and labels. Verify the accuracy of
outgoing shipments by checking orders against packing lists and
shipping documents. Ensure shipments are properly packaged,
labeled, and meet carrier and customer requirements. Coordinate
with carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve
delivery issues. Enter and update shipment data in Warehouse
Management Systems (WMS) and other tracking tools. Collaborate with
production and operations teams to prioritize and fulfill shipping
requirements. Assist in monitoring inventory accuracy by reporting
discrepancies or damaged goods. Maintain files and records of
shipping documents for compliance and auditing purposes.
Communicate with customer service regarding order status, shipping
delays, or special requirements. Follow and enforce safety
procedures, keeping work areas clean and organized. Support the
Production team in shared goals and initiatives. HAVE FUN! Other

equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in shipping,
receiving, or warehouse operations preferred. Basic knowledge of
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar software. Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing shipping
documents and verifying orders. Good organizational and
time-management skills to handle multiple priorities. Effective
communication skills to work with internal teams, carriers, and
customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while
maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Salary Description
17.00/hr
